I have heard a lot about our carbon footprint.  But I want to propose a new term – Karmic Footprint.  It is my belief that shopping at indie retailers increases my Karmic Footprint and this footprint should be large.  The more we support people rather than corporations, main street more than wall street, compassion more than judgement, the bigger the Karmic Footrprint.  My resolution for 2009 is to increase my Karmic Footprint.  Join me!  Visit indiebound.org and Authors ‘Round The South to find local indie retailers to support.
