Dear Wanda,
Mommy asked me to write you a letter to thank you for inviting us to SIBA. (I pinky promised that I would.)
I was really excited to meet all of the nice people at SIBA. I think people really liked me and they were happy to know that even though I’m hard of hearing, I can do everything else that all the other kids do.
I cant wait to tell my teacher that there were people from so many different states…from Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Virginia and some more that I can’t even remember. (Uh-Oh, I know my teacher will ask me to look at the map to see if I can find all the states.)
Some people were writers and some people own bookstores. (I love bookstores!) We even went to visit 2 bookstores on an island…they had so many fun things in those stores and so many books! I would like to have so many books like that.
I made friends there too…Ricky Vargas was there and he is so funny! I met the Moogees too. (They are looking for a new house.) Would you believe even Eloise, Fancy Nancy and Ladybug Girl were there. Wow, I was way excited to meet them because they are like really really famous. I hope someday I can be that famous too.
You know what else they had that I never ever ever saw before? They had “Let’s Hear It For Almigal” really yummy cookies with my whole entire picture on them…For Real!!!
I hope the nice People at SIBA invite us to their show again…it was so much fun! I don’t know when Mommy and Daddy will have time to read all the books that we got, but I’m going to make sure that they do!
